Position Summary:
The Logistics and Distribution Coordinator oversees all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, distribution planning, and compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless movement of goods and food items, maintain accurate inventory records, and uphold the organization’s standards for quality and accountability.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily logistics and distribution operations for goods and food delivery.
Oversee inventory tracking systems using RFID/barcode software and cloud databases.
Develop distribution schedules and routes to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure safety and compliance with USDA and FDA standards.
Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and field teams to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain.
Prepare detailed operational reports and ensure compliance with internal audit requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years in logistics, warehouse, or distribution management.
Experience with ERP or inventory systems preferred.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Strong understanding of compliance, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
