GED Instructor / Adult Education Specialist

Position Summary:
The GED Instructor supports learners in preparing for and passing their GED exams. This position combines classroom instruction, individualized tutoring, and digital learning facilitation.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction in all GED subject areas.

• Create adaptive lesson plans and integrate technology for hybrid learning.

• Conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate records.

• Collaborate with academic counselors and workforce staff to align learning goals with career pathways.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching certification preferred.

  2+ years of adult education or GED instruction experience.

• Strong digital literacy and familiarity with virtual learning platforms.

• Excellent communication and mentorship skills.
